After reading this post .info/foru...169#post157169 I started thinking, what might become the "new" Double Red Sea Dweller?Is there a Rolex that is out now or that came out the last 10-15 years that some of you believe will increase in value by like 1000-5000% over the next 10-40 years? What of the current Rolex models do you believe will increase the most in value over the next years?I know Rolex got some 100,000$ watches that is loaded with diamonds and other gems and that are pretty rare. But I am not that big of a diamond fan. But do Rolex give out any none diamond watches that are rare? Like for example a Datejust with a special dial that will just be sold in 2008 and you will never see the dial again or any other thing that will only be sold in a limited period and in a low number?

Gruen was started with American cased best German movements from Assmann. Dietrich was trained by him, Lange and educator Grossman the originators of the German fine watch industry. Photos are attempt to show the Grossmann refined lever escapement they used. Called gold by some but actually a durable bronze and aluminum alloy yellow like gold. A lot is written about these Germans. Google to see.This one is 16 size gruen made gold case engraved as gift 1902. 20 jewel best finish.

Hi,Just bought my first patek ( after lots of rolexes).I used to do anything with my rolexes ( 24/7, running, swimming etc).My new/old 3710 on my hand most of the time, but what about shower and swimming?I did checked it and it is water proofed....Emanuel

Present For My Fathers Birthday, Which One??? Help
My dads birthday is in October and I want to buy him a Patek. The only thing is he doesnt like to where bulky watches or watches in gerneral. Not too sure if appropriate but saw a nice reference for sales in Garage sales and the case engravings are very much off to my eyes. Im new to vintage, is this the norm in vintage pieces?
