Since its debut in 1957, Omega’s iconic Speedmaster chronograph, nicknamed “Moonwatch” for its presence on all six NASA lunar missions, sported a tricompax dial arrangement. In 2011, Omega outfitted the watch with a new co-axial movement and bicompax design, both of which are used again in the first Moonwatch with a black ceramic case, unveiled at Baselworld 2013.The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch “Dark Side of the Moon” derives its name from its black zirconium oxide ceramic dial and matching black ceramic case, which is 44.25 mm in diameter and boasts both brushed and polished finishes. For 2010, A. Lange & S?hne introduces the Lange 1 Daymatic with a completely new 426-part self-winding movement. This is the first automatic member of the Lange 1 family. The Daymatic dial mirrors the Lange 1 and adds a retrograde day-of-the-week indication. For those who wear their watch on the left wrist, this layout moves the time indication to the right so it is seen first as the sleeve is drawn back. The Lange 1 Daymatic will be available in yellow and pink gold, and in platinum. The case is 39.5mm in diameter, about 1mm larger than the Lange 1. The dial is solid silver, and an English version will be available using MTWTFSS rather than the German MDMDFSS. I am completely new to watches and have for the longest while thought them to be unnecessary. I recently however came across the spitfire double chrono and found myself drawn to it. Any thoughts about this watch in terms of its long term value, amongst others? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Just bought the reference 16710 and called my attention that prices on 16610 are much cheaper....Do you have any opinion about that?Also you can find the sub reference with no problem while gmt II is harder to get.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
