A question about the servicing of the vintage Longines
Hi to all,This 1948 longines has never been serviced for more than 50 years (some members of TZ sugested that the dial is refinished). I intend to send it to a Longines Switzerland for the service, since i figure they're the best in the field. A few questions tor the experts :1) Are they really the best in the field ? 2) What price can i expect for the service(cleaning,repairing of the parts,oiling...etc.) and how long it takes ?3) I was told that i will have to confirm the sugested "service plan" that will be send to me by Longines Switzerland after the watch inspection. What parts shall i keep original to emphasis the vintage sight of the watch ? Thanks for the help,Leon

Anyone have any experience with the new clasp they are putting on the sport watches with the micro adjustment feature.I was in the Omega Boutique yesterday and they said it can be bought individually and put on my PO 2500, they said it's like $150, I was shocked Nice to be out of the Rolex world

I wanted this exact watch as soon as I clapped eyes on it as part of the 175th anniversary collection releases. Some thought the P was going to be the only one to have, yes it's nice but it left me feeling a little cold. For me the warmth of the rose gold coupled with its beautifully clear dial was the one I wanted.
