IWC IW500704 wrist watches news:
Hirsch curved straps use the Hirsch Leonardo strap attachment:There are 8 different positioning possibilities for the spring bar as there are two opposite bores in the hard insert. The position of the bores change, depending on the turn, in steps of 0,5 mm. The distance from where the Leonardo bracelet is attached to the spring bar ranges from 4,5 mm to 5,5 mm (with +/- 0,5 mm tolerance). If the distance of the bore to the inside of the leg on the watch exceeds these dimensions, the Leonardo watch band no longer fits.Determination of the insert positionIn the first step you need to determine the position of the hard insert in relation to the watch case. With the HIRSCH Leonardo Instrumento this can be done quite easily.Attach the Instrumento with the correct attachment in the respective width to the watch case. The two pins of the Instrumento insert indicate the possible position of the spring bar of the Leonardo watch band.If none of the pins are suitable for the bores in the watch ca
HiHave almost settled on a PO (black but with orange numerals) but I have seen pictures of the new Aqua Terra GMT which also looks great. I haven't seen it in the flesh and cannot seem to find any prices online. I appreciate it is a different style of watch from the PO. As the watch is a gift it is one I will need to keep. I think both of them will have staying power (although I am slightly concerned about the coloured numerals not being classic..).Any views and any knowledge of how much the AT GMT is?Thanks
Is it a Planet Ocean or new Sea master? Is it the full size one or reduced size???I couldnt tell in the cinema, I was too far away.
Hello everyone, I just wanted to take the time to share some observations I've had regarding the new SS Pepsi release and hopefully get your thoughts on something that's been puzzling me. Maybe even some from our current WG BLRO owners. I may be wrong -or it's just too early to tell- but it seems like the general sentiment or at least expected reaction to the new Pepsi by current WG Pepsi owners at the most is offense and in the least, disappointment. To our WG BLRO owners. What were your first reactions to the SS Pepsi? And why? Here comes the crux. Stealth wealth, a virtue stated by many WG owners and aspirers. If its purpose is to please oneself, would it be unreasonable to be disappointed if you found yourself among a sea of SS Pepsis (After the 2-10 waitlist)? If I was an original owner, I don't think I would be. White gold at the end of the day is still white gold. As a person who both loves the Pepsi bezel and PM pieces in their own right, when the original WG BLRO was first rel
Hi guys, I am heading to Tokyo next month for holiday. I am in search of a vintage 5513 or 1675 - would love to get one from Japan. I have a couple of questions:1. How are the prices like in Japan now compared to the rest of the world? I have been looking at some websites of AD/Grey dealers online in Tokyo, and the prices seem much higher than the average. For example, a good condition 5513 can go for 14k USD.2. Does anyone have any good recommendations of vintage rolex shops to visit? Will be staying in Shinjuku area, but definitely will be visiting Ginza, Shibuya, etc.Would also love any general tips/advice from you guys. Thanks :)
