Omega Omega 1604 wrist watches news:
The Swatch Group has added another jewel — or, more precisely, jeweler — to its crown. The Bienne, Switzerland-based company, which owns watch brands ranging from Swatch to Hamilton to Omega to Breguet, announced Monday that it is acquiring world-renowned jewelry brand Harry Winston, which in recent years has also become a bastion of high watchmaking. In the deal, Swatch Group Ltd. gets 100 percent of the shares of HW Holdings Inc., owner of New York-based Harry Winston, Inc., giving the Group ownership of the brand and all activities related to its jewelry and watches, including its 535 employees worldwide and production company in Geneva, Switzerland. The acquisition sum amounts to U.S. $750 million plus the assumption of up to U.S. $250 million of pro forma net debt. The sale does not include the mining segment of the company, Harry Winston Diamond Corporation, based in Toronto, which will be renamed Dominion Diamond Corporation upon the closing of the transaction.“The Harry Winston
August 2014 on watches-dealer is the month you can enter for a chance to win a Swiss Torgoen T32 Automatic pilot watch. Based on the historic look of airplane cockpit instruments, the Torgoen T32 Automatic has a black-coated 43mm wide steel case. The Torgoen T32 Automatic also happens to be the very first automatic watch made by the Torgoen brand, known by many for its quartz pilot-style watches. With the Torgoen T32 Automatic they decided to go classic, offering a familiar look for their value-minded customer. The Torgoen T32 Automatic is water resistant to 100 meters and has a sapphire crystal. The dial adds some orange color accents to the traditionally monochromatic aviator-style dial. Inside the Torgoen T32 Automatic is a Swiss Valanvron automatic movement, which is part of a new breed of mechanical movement makers that has come about since ETA stopped supplying firms outside of the Swatch Group. The Torgoen T32 Automatic ref. T32103 watch has a retail price of $680 and you can ent
Earlier today we told you that Phillips has a new international head of watches in ex-Christie's co-head Sam Hines – but we know what you guys like to see, and that's watches. So we're back to give you a small little taste of the types of watches we'll see in the Phillips Geneva Watch Auction: Two, taking place this November 8th. Patek Philippe 2497 Perpetual Calendar In Pink Gold 1 OF 10 The first watch we'll look at is a reference 2497 from Patek. The 2497 is considered one of the finest and most elegant watches made by the house of Patek – it is a perpetual calendar dating to the 1950s. The last time we mentioned a 2497 on HODINKEE was when we saw a spectacular example from the collection of a Mr. Jason Singer in this episode of Talking Watches. 2 OF 103 OF 10 This particular example is special because it is in wonderful condition and one of the few pieces made not in yellow gold, but in rose. The estimate for this
Hi everyoneI have inherited an 18k closed face un inscribed patek philippe 5 minute repeater, the face says tiffany and co, the back bevel after you open the casein the back has patek, philippe &co inscribed, you need a loop to see that inscription, there are case serial numbers which I'll post later if you tell me this is importantI have looked at the movement, once the back is opened it's protected by it's own crystal. The problem, the movement seems to have a guard covering the actual works and there is neither serial number nor patek hallmarks anywhere to be found, I would have to dismantle the back to see the actual chasis if I wanted to find a hall markis this possible on a patek movement?thank you in advance for all information you can providebtwmy dad also left me a patek wrist watch, little small for my liking and a vacheron hinged lug wrist watch as well, when I get to the vault I'll try to post some pics for all to seeI am very proud of this collection, my dad cared for
About to go out to dinner and as always am waiting on my bride. Grabbed my cell phone and grabbed a few pics. Really love this piece and the solo diamond is just pure class! I got the optional deployant buckle. This watch is incomplete without it.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
