Cartier Cartier 47473 wrist watches news:
Howdy WTFers, so I bid and won this Junghans watch. Vintage Junghans Incabloc SubSecond Manual Watch Now, being a newbie and all I didn't do the necessary research before bidding while it was shipped I began reading about different Junghans models. I read that their logo is usually an eight point star but also made some with a five point star. As you can see, this model has six points. so I contacted the seller and he claims he bought it at an estate sale and doesn't know anything else about it. He has agreed to refund my money if I don't want it but I thought I'd check with you guys first. I like the look of the watch but I wouldn't want to keep it if it's a dud. Also, can you guys tell me how much I overpaid by. I mean, I'm assuming I did, but just would like to know by how much. I didn't find any similar looking watches on the bay. Thank you in advance for your help.
I'm looking for something simple, classic, and dressy enough to be worn on my wedding day when it comes. I've narrowed it down to a Jazzmaster Automatic, one of these 2:JazzMaster SlimJazzmaster Square AutomaticSame watch, different face. Just wondering which one you guys like the best?Or perhaps I'm looking at the wrong type of watch for a Tux? What do you think? Also, in the first link I'm a bit confused because the description of the item and the picture both indicate that it's an automatic movement but the specifications state that it's a quartz. Which do I trust?(Note: Second option would not have a brown strap on it while wearing my tux. This is the one I linked too because the watch photo of the Black Strap version is a bit fuzzy.)
Thought I'd share an e-mail I got from RGM. One of these days I'll make a trip out there with Windy. She can hit the shops while I drool over their guilloche machine.
I'm debating between two divers that are very different, but would fill the same niche - casual sporty. The first is the ever present Orange Monster. I don't think I need to say anything more about that possible choice, since a bunch of you own one, and the rest have been bombarded with photos about them. If I didn't know better, I'd say there were subliminal advertisements for the OM on this site! :DHere's the second:gnomonwatches/Ollech&WajsCougar.htmSo, which watch, OM or OW? I won't be voting, because if I had that much of an opinion, I wouldn't be asking you! Thanks for you input!
I guess my concern is besides the scratch resident Qualities how does it hold up to bangs on the corners...I am the ding king, I always find a way to ding up my steel. Will the ceramic chip off????
