- Excellent watch, very interesting shaped face, but the stretch band is way too for a normal sized wrist. I had to get another band in order to use this watch.

Hi all,I was given an old Hampden pocket watch that was supposedly my fathers - never met him. A bit beat up but still runs great.I'm simply intrigued to figure out the model/date and possible history on this watch. Can anyone help? Here are links to some BIG pics of the inside:i8.photobucket/albums/a20...b/Hampden4.jpgi8.photobucket/albums/a20...b/Hampden2.jpgi8.photobucket/albums/a20...b/Hampden3.jpgI am having a hard time figuring out the number that is stamped on the outer edge of the case...Any idea's folks? Thanks so much for any help you can provide.~ MotoJB
$(KGrHqUOKowE3HC-dqC7BN8jJNlkFQ~~0_12.JPGI have recently bought the above watch. Between what years did Kurth Freres make these movements? It says GS MkII A73123 on the back - anyone know what that means? Thanks in anticipation....
Hi allI am kind of confused between 15204or and 15407or. I like the size and double balance skeleton look of 15407or on the other hand 15204or is part of ultra-thin family and it has date...Which one would you go for ?Tapatalk kullanarak iPhone aracılığıyla g?nderildi
Let me start this thread by saying that if you were considering getting a Diver this thread will convince you of pulling the trigger. I have some good eye-candy for all of you.I just returned from the Cayman Islands last night after a wonderful week there. My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed it very much. We did plenty of snorkeling, swimming, interacted with stingrays, smoked a few Habanos (Montecristo #4), tried on several APs, had some amazing meals and enjoyed my Diver more than any other diving watch I've owned. There's only one Audemars Piguet AD in Grand Cayman but with great inventory. The AD is Magnum Jewelers and they are extremely friendly and with great prices. Unfortunately I couldn't buy another piece as I've owned the Diver for less than a month. Magnum has several locations in the island but only two of them carry AP. The one at the Ritz-Carlton where we were staying carries only four to five pieces while one of the locations in Georgetown is extremely well stock
Zero interest in Cellini's until I saw the Moonphase. Absolutely one of the most elegant dress watches I have ever seen - and it's from Rolex!!! This must be seen in person to be appreciated. I am, and have always been, a sports Rolex wearer - Until yesterday! Doesn't get a lot of love here on the TRF but I suspect it will in the future. Took a year from '17 Basel to get to my AD. Next up will be my blue SD (fingers clicking on the desk, waiting!) Can someone help me post photos pls? I have several more photos in better lighting but between Tapatalk and my iMac I can't, for the life of me, resize the photos from my Desktop (where I moved them to) and post. Frankly, I don't know/ remember how I got this one to post. Tapatalk on my phone is all good with photos attached, etc but when I press the arrow up top right next to New Topic a window pops up Please wait until attachment finishes removing. I am most definitely computer challenged. Thanks in advance. 20180304_134900 copy 2.jpg
