- I wanted a simple watch with a black strap and this fit the bill. The strap was a little narrower than I anticipated but overall, I'm happy with it.

Cartier W6900356 wrist watches news:
Got it in yesterday from Hong Kong. It only took 72 hours 3 business days to receive by FedEx as the company promised. I did order a nice band from Panatime, the watch did come with a rubber and a NATO band. The watch also came with two bezels a typical style and a solid brass one. I used the solid brass bezel and blued the numbers and markings. I also aged the watch just a little bit to bring down the extremely shiny brass. I wanted the aging to look natural and not like some aged watches I have seen out there that look like a science project that has gone bad. This is the way the watch is delivered from the factory.
This watch has been in my family since 1882 and I am the 5th person to have it. I will have my name engraved on it when I feel worthy.
I have this old G-Shock DW5600E. Recently I opened it up for a battery change and ended up losing the gasket. I found the gasket and re-lubed it, and put it back in. But the screws were striped from the wrong size screwdriver, things like that, so I took some screws from another watch that I don't wear and put them on tightly. A few days ago I was washing my hands and some water leaked in, causing the display to fade away. So I opened it up and took the module out and let it dry for a few hours. I put it all back together after it was done. Same gasket, same screws. I'm really afraid to get it wet as I don't want to ruin it so tomorrow I might be able to have a jeweler reseal it and replace the screws for me. How much would it cost to reseal and replace screws on a $50 Casio watch? I know I can get a new watch for like $40-$50 but this one has so many memories and it's one of my favorites so I really want to do whatever I can to save it, worse comes to worse I'll get a new one. So how
