Cartier W6920009 wrist watches news:
Breitling's new 2010 website has launched!! It still has the same overall look, but it's been greatly improved (IMO) by adding all the navigation links to the left of the screen. You can also navigate those links without changing screens. It's now easier to get to the maintenance & retail locator's, as well as the model information. All new models have had their technical details added as well. They've added more information to many of the models, and have added a Configurator application. This cool tool allows you to select the model you want, then select from all the available dials, bracelets and straps and shows you the completed watch picture. What's even more, you can email the picture & details to yourself (or anyone else) which you can use to take into any AD to get that exact watch.. No more trying to explain what you want to the dealer. Now you can show them! Good job Breitling!! The new website is: breitlingFor a short demo movie on using the Configurator appl
I see this line in my big 'Wristwatch Annual '09'. It is made by Rodolphe. The model is the Paninaro 44 Automatic Chrono Large Date. This photo doesn't do it any justice at all. I can't find a better image on line, but it looks super cool. Talk about a signature watch. Says it runs at 28,800 vph, 49 jewels and a reworked ETA 2892. Sapphire front and back and 5 atm. About the same as a basic Rolex as far as money - $6,600.Anyone ever see this before or know anything about the company?
Picked up the Royal Oak 40th anniversary commemorative book edited by Martin Wehrli and Heinmann and quite enjoying it going through it this Saturday afternoon! I seem to building up a collection of watch/horology books lately! Be well folks.
I love this watch and want to add one to my collection. Only issue is the bracelet is not my cup of tea. Looks like the only options are the Rubber or Leather, Croc with buckle or clasp. Is there any other options available for a solid end link bracelet that would look well more substantial? As it is I am leaning to a brown leather strap. The vintage B is such a fine touch
I was on another forum where someone asked if he should get a PO and SMP. I wrote a review about it as I am fortunate enough to have both. I thought I'd post it here too.Watched uses are the SMP 2541 Quartz and PO 42mm Co-Axial.WEAR/STYLINGSMP:The SMP wears a lot thinner then the PO. This makes the SMP a fantastic watch for dressier occasions. I have never had any problems with fitting the SMP under a shirt cuff. Size wise they are about he same diameter. Although it makes a good formal watch, it is also suited for causal and even down right beach wear. Omega got it correct with the styling here. The wave dial give is a fantastic look depending on how the light hits it. It looks like a true divers watch.PO:The PO has more wrist presence for sure. It is thicker then the SMP. I wear it to work. My job is semi-casual so I wear a shirt but dont have the cuffs buttoned up. It sits higher on the wrist but not overly high. It wears more smart-causal to casual and outdoor activity then formal.
