Broken Seiko
Hi,I have a problem with a Seiko watch with a quartz movement, it appears something has broken inside so now when I turn the winder the second hand spins very fast with it, however, the hour and minute hand do not turn at all. Can anyone tell me why this might be?I am not a beginner, so should able to sort it myself if I know the cause of the problem. As far as I'm aware I haven't done anything to it other than remove the winder.Any help would be appreciated.Cheers.

Hi All...It's been a long time since I've posted. I had some rather life-altering events, and I had to put my focus and energies into other facets of my life. Those things have seemed to settle down a bit, so I now find myself back here amongst the old stomping grounds.My father recently passed away, and I've inherited a couple of pieces, all of them pocket watches. My apologies for the color cast on these photos. The one which got the most interest from an appraiser a few years ago was this one, a Huber:I know absolutely nothing about pocket watches. This one belonged to my Grandmother's brother. He passed away in 1932 at age 23.I'm hoping to get a little information about this, and I'll post photos of the other (Lambert Bros.) when I get some decent shots taken. Should I do it? BLNR for PAM 233
So impulsive me is at it again. I currently own an 114060 and a BLNR but I have been thinking a lot lately about having more variety within the rotation. The Sub is the perfect daily, so I am thinking about trading the BLNR for a PAM 233. Last summer I was going between a PAM 233/422 and a BLNR but picked up the BLNR thinking it could cover up the urge for a PAM. Well, I was wrong . Some days I love the BLNR and want to keep it and other days I want something else. So what do you guys think?Trade this?For this?
