- It is the best watch I've ever owned it looks great and feel even better. The one draw back is the band takes a little hair out of arm.

....Longines guts:Okay, so they aren't so greasy. You're looking at the caliber 291 inside my 1960 Conquest date-at-12. It's easily the most boring fantastic movement of it's time. Quite the Plain Jane, huh? IMO, this was the best and most efficient design of the Longines' automatics. Built like a tank and an excellent timekeeper too. The screw near the jewel on the rotor is to compensate for rotor wobble if you were wondering. I was working on a project and realized I had never cracked the back open of this myself and forgot to write down the serial & case reference number when Sam had opened it up to check it out when I bought it. That little $7 tool kit from a few months back got put to use. Anyway, before I tackled that I thought I'd use a Bulova as a guinea pig.Don't know about you, but watch movement pics are my favorite.
I recently wanted to buy a Ro, the regular model new style in 41mm, here's a link to show you which one I'm talking about as I am not a specialist and don't know the OP references:.shop.rivierawatch/fr/...oyal-oak-.htmlThis grey dealer having sold me and my wife a few watches, we have developed quite a nice relation with him and he is very honest. While wanting to buy a watch that he has in stock, he told me to avoid buying one as, according to him, OP has a 25% return rate on their RO's, how is that even possible??? For me 25% return of new watches to the manufacture for defects is just crazy, especially for a brand like AP.Does anyone know about this and have any explanation about how such a thing is even possible?Always thought that AP were nearly flawless watch movements and that you could buy your eyes closed, not according to my grey dealer, since I was hesitating between that one and a Blancpain, that he doesn't have, he told me it would be better to get the BP, that they didn't
Hello, Does anyone know where I can get a 18mm stainless genuine buckle?Thank you.
Here is a test. I have never been able to post pictures because I'm a technology neophyte but since I've been posting on watch sites for years I decided to try and spread my wings. With that in mind I figured it's my grail that I got last year that should be first...a 5970J that was brand new when I bought it with salon papers that I traded much of my collection in for. So here goes nothing...
