The Grönefeld Brothers hail from the town of Oldenzaal, in the Netherlands, close to the border with Germany; they're third-generation watchmakers who, after training and considerable professional experience in Switzerland, began making their own watches, under their own name, in 2008. Been taking stock of the collection, deciding what stays and what potentially goes - and had to pause when I pulled this one out:Man, I still dig this watch! Plenty of new arrivals have superceded it as "flavor of the month", several pieces have more prestigious names, and I wear almost every other watch in my collection more.but this Conquest is the crown jewel of my Longines group and simply the best looking vintage watch I've ever, and maybe will ever, own. So what's your all-time favorite of your collection?

Stopped by to check out a vacancy in the Westfield Roseville, CA Galleria food court this weekend and noticed a giant orange PO poster that said Omega Boutique coming soon. I know there's at least 2-3 Rolex ADs alone inside that massive maze of a mall so it will be interesting.
