Cartier WJCL0004 wrist watches news:
Perhaps the true "holy grail" of Hamiltonsan example of the obscenely rare Hamilton "Barbizon" sold today at auction for an astounding $41,000. To the best of my limited knowledge, perhaps the most ever paid for a Hamilton wristwatch:Hamilton BarbizonThe watch retailed for $2,200 in 1957, about the same price as a good car, which likely means few were sold and would account for the rarity today. This is the first actual confirmed example I know of.
Hi everyone, so I'm looking into getting my first ap and am just enamoured by the 15400 blue or the jumbo and was hoping for some advice. The watch would be my new daily wearer and I was wondering which would you choose and why? Which would be sturdier and less prone to issues? Thanks in advance for any and all help! It's greatly appreciated!
Hello All,I'm wondering if anyone has a 6.75 wrist (give or take) and wears a PO 45.5. I tried on a 42mm but it was pretty small. Fit more like a 40mm. If anyone does, please post some pics and let me know how it feels. Comments are welcome by all. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Amazing how in 10 minutes, you can change the look of this watch to just something else. No other Rolex can boast such a change up.10 Mins later:
I have really enjoyed my no date two line Submariner the last few years, but found myself wanting to try the Submariner with date. No dealer in my area had one in stock but I located one in the Dallas area. Love it! I think my next addition to my collection will be exploring different color combinations within the Submariner line. As always thanks to all the TRF forum members for the consistent advice. John
