- I almost never take it off. Three alarms, 2 time zones, date, chronograph, imved Indiglo. Sleek design and silver accents make it equally appriate for everyday use and athletics.

I have been enjoying a new Accutron VX200 Diver for the past several days and thought I would do a review.Size and heft: This is a 43mm dial with a large, easy-to-grasp crown with the Accutron tuning fork logo etched on it. It has a substantial feel and heft but not so heavy that it is an effort to wear.Dial: The dial is done in a matte black finish. It is easy to read. The red and black unidirectional bezel is done in the same matte finish. I don't know what the lume material is, but it glows like a flashlight. I suspect Super-luminova but I don't know that for a fact. Even the logo at the 12 o'clock position glows brightly. The second hand is black with a sporty red tip with the tuning fork logo at the opposite end. The date is at the 3 o'clock position absent a cyclops. SWISS MADE is at the 6 o'clock position. Sapphire crystals front and back.Movement: An ETA 2824-2 powers the watch. It is smoooooth. This is my first ETA time piece. I haven't checked the accuracy since
Hi everyone, I have just bought a vintage Tissot Seastar Visodate PR-516 for my father-in-law for his birthday and I am hoping someone here might be able to help me date it.It is a manual wind, stainless steel case and silver dial model and the seriel number on the movement is 7924590. I think it is from around 1965 but would love to know for sure. Also, most of the Seastar's I've seen since seem to have an automatic movement. Is the manual wind quite rare? Many thanksDavid Howlett
According to the Clerc website, all the company's watches are handmade. Rolex, Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger LeCoultre made watches for Clerc until the 1970s when the company began producing its own timepieces.
Like many of you, there are more Pateks that I want than I can afford, but I have decided to go ahead and get my first one. I have a Rolex Submariner and a very nice 1967 Speedmaster (cal 321) that both have a great deal of sentimental value - I don't see myself parting with either. Steel sport watches suit the way that I mostly dress, including to work, where I don't need to wear a suit.I feel like I should get a precious metal dress watch because it's what my collection is lacking, and I am seriously considering a 5227R. (I do not like 5196's, I'm partial to 5119R but it seems even more dressy to me than the 5227. The 5153R is beautiful, but I feel like the 5227 is more modern and may be better suited to lasting the test of time. I do not like the 5146). I'm also considering a 5205R because I feel that a Patek ought to have a complication, but at 40 mm, it's getting a bit big for my wrist, and with it's thickness and bling-factor, I might wear it even less than a 5227R.On the other h
