Dear Watch lovers,After some research and homework that I have done I decided that my choice must be an automatic golden case watch with in-house movement.If I am not wrong, all the watches below are according to my requirements:I would like to hear your opinion about the next issues: Can you rank those watches as per their movements quality / level / reliability ??? How about ranking the brands ? Which are more or less prestigious ? Which from them per your opinion will still be valuable and an precious present to son or grandson after 20-40 years ??? Ok, so I was going through my jewelry box, and I discovered my great-uncle's Omega that my cousin gave me. She had no use for it, so she thought I would want it....she was right!! The only problem is, it needs a major overhaul. I guess i need to send it to Arlington.

I was lucky enough for my Grandpa to give me one of his watches as a present earlier this year. I know nothing about watches honestly, but have heard Omega is one of the nice brands out there. I'd love to know some history on the watch, and if I can find out what year it was made that would be great. My Dad just had it polished and cleaned up a little for me for Christmas so it's looking pretty nice Also, how would I find out the value of the watch? I would never sell it, but I'd like to know the value.Thanks guys/gals!

A few weeks ago ...Me and Liesbeth got an invitation. Since this year Patek Philippe choose a second top dealer to sell their watches in Belgium. And to celebrate this, Patek and the dealer organized a wonderfull event last nightThey choose for a dealer in Antwerp, Antwerp is THE city when talking about diamonds so a few top watch and jewelry shops are of course a must.Patek choose for 'Tensen', imo the perfect choice ! I know these guys already several years and they are top people at a top location. They sell a huge amount of brands but their highest end shop is of course the most interesting for us watch enthusiasts :-)So in fact now they have a very big shop where they sell ONLY Patek and Rolex. Both are different brands but I think we'll all agree each of these 2 is THE ultimate brand within their own category.The other brands they sell are available at their other shopsJust a small picture I found on the net, showing their highest level 'Tensen Exclusive' shop.tensen.be/nl/home
