- I bought this watch for my husband's birthday and he loved it. The only drawback to this watch is that the numbers for the date are very and difficult to read.

- I received this watch yesterday and was so excited to see the box since I have earrings with Kokopelli figures. As others have stated, the band is extremely and even though they did discuss it as being , this is ridiculously with little ability to stretch. In fact, one of the pins popped out when I tried to put it on and I have a r

Cartier Cartier 14909 wrist watches news:
How well do you know your brand ambassadors? Grab a pencil or fire up your word processor and find out. We’ve assembled 20 ambassadors and 20 watch brands for you to match up. Some are current, some are from days gone by. Some are well known, others are more obscure. As always, the answers appear at the end. Good luck! Match the ambassador on the left with his/her brand on the right. Our answers take the form 1K, 2C, etc.
So I decided to drop off the watch in Secaucus NJ and let Omega have a go at the Great White. I have had the watch 1 month beyond the 2 year warranty. Ouch.I just got faxed the estimate of 606 to include a crystal. Now the price I understand but it was the remarks that were interesting.Bezel shows signs of wearWatch shows signs of wearMovement has low amplitude ( have no idea what is meant by this but it has held time really well except for when not worn)So complete Main, SVC is 375 and they also added a crystal at 177 but no where did they mention that in the remarks. Now some history of the watch...Was bought in 07 and placed into storage till 2 months ago. I wear it only at work when flying. When I dropped it off it looked no less than Mint-New with no signs of wear other than on the bracelet latch. I.E. no wear from my eyes. But also in a separate thread I mentioned the sound but no where in the remarks did they mention anything loose or not appropriate. So I am getting a comple

Here's some pics of hopefully my last watch, which completes my collection at least for a while!
A recent thread (about Swiss attitudes toward Rolex) got me thinking about the extent to which Rolex interacts with its customers I know AP owns some of its own boutiques, offers appointment-only lounges, and has invited customers to factory tours. Patek has factory tours and other events for VIPs -- and for us common folk, they have their museum in Geneva. I'm sure other brands have similar practices. How often does Rolex deal with its own customers? Do they own any of the retail stores or service centers? Has anyone on TRF ever been invited to an event by Rolex itself (and not by an AD)? Personally, the arms-length approach doesn't bother me -- I'm just an enthusiast and am nowhere close to a major customer. But for those who buy a large quantity of precious metal (or diamond/gem studded) Rolex watches, does Rolex ever make the relationship more personal?
