Cartier Cartier 32394 wrist watches news:
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will take place this weekend in Los Angeles, and for the third year in a row, Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry will release a new, Grammy-branded wristwatch to coincide with the music industry’s biggest night. In 2010, Gucci launched its Grammy Special Edition watch collection as part of a three-year partnership with The Recording Academy, organizers of the Grammys. The latest edition to the collection is a timepiece whose design offers a variation on Gucci’s interlocking “Double G” motif, which is incorporated into the bezel. There are two models, each with stainless-steel cases that measure 42 mm in diameter. One has a sun-brushed finish and a black dial; the other has a black PVD finish and a dark yellow dial. The minimalist dials ¡ª with the ¡®Gucci¡¯ logo at 12 o’clock ¡ª are enlivened by circular-grained surfaces that recall the grooves on a vinyl record. I am swapping a "panda" dial onto an 861 Speedmaster, and I have the hour, min. and sweep seconds hand in silver/polished metal, but Ofrei only has 2 of the 3 subdial hands in silver. Does anyone know another source or might have one lying about? It is the hour recorder subdial hand in silver. I could buy a whole set or partial set, too.
Gentlemen and ladies, if we have any as members here, I have just paid a social call to WTF's newest forum for Patek Philippe watches. Now, you know I love Hammies but I honestly believe I am suffering from PP (Patek Philippe) envy.Go visit and see what I mean.
My Granddad has had this watch for as long as I can remember I believe he told me that his mother got it for his father during/after WWI for $80. Would be a lot in today's dollars I would imagine. I never really looked closely at it until today (after I have got into watches and know more about them). Maybe someone here would know more about them than either of us.(Unfortunately all I had with me was my blackberry camera).Avalon, 17 Jewel, Swiss Made, Antimagnetic Incabloc, Waterproof, Stainless. He also has this pocketwatch. He never uses it, only winds it occationally and leaves it in its glass container. Can't remember what he told me about this one in the past. There is nothing printed on the back side.
Gents, I am trying to find out about my watch. It is an I series 2006 243. Purchased by the original owner at Tourneau in N.Y back in Dec 2006. At some point in its life it has been PVD coated and when I purchased some time ago it was unworn. I am trying to establish where and when the PVD was applied. I will get some pictures up over the weekend.Hope someone can help.Cheers.
