Cartier W31016N1 wrist watches news:
I know the mvt.will give me all the info I need to know but I'm hoping someone here will be able to shed a little light on it.It's 18K,so I was told, have no reason to mistrust the seller.Nothing at all on the case back.I will have it opened as soon as I can find a competent watchmaker in my neck of the woods.Appears to be pink gold.Dial clearly shows age but not at all sure how old it is...40's ??Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hello everyone!Seems like I haven't visited for a while.I've been crazy-busy since we got back from Maui (honeymoon). My wife and I decided to open our own beauty salon. We officially opened on Christmas Eve.My Omega 2254.50 never leaves my wrist & still looks great! The Hippocampus got to enjoy all aspects of a complete remodeling of our building, i.e. pulling carpet, laying ceramic tile, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, 16ft ladder at 4AM removing vinyl sign lettering with 20 deg F temps. Quite a few 8 to 10 hour days on top of my regular 9-5 job.I also built our business website and set up a Wi-Fi hotspot.Seems like I just can't do a little of anything!Look forward to hanging with you guys a lil' more soon.BadBoy
We've seen copies of ads here....here's a strategy behind what we've seen..Will Stone, Hamilton Watch Company:Often simple visuals are the best visuals. ¡°We tested two different mail order ads selling a collector¡¯s reproduction of a watch originally manufactured into he 1920¡¯s,¡± said Will Stone, of the Hamilton Watch Company. ¡°One ad used a large dramatic photo showing the watch against a plain background. The other visual had less emphasis on the product and focused on a scene depicting the ¡®roaring twenties¡¯ period during which the watch was originally made. It showed flappers and a 1920¡¯s car. The ad with the straight product photo-¡¯product as hero¡¯-generated three times as many sales as the other version.¡±As a general rule, simple visuals that show the product or illustrate some aspect of its use are better than unusual, creative concepts that can actually hide what you are selling, thus reducing the ad¡¯s selling power. These days of celebrity and the representation of the"finer" th
Hi everyone, I am new on this forum, my name is Burak, living in New York. I currently have the blue dial royal oak 41mm, yesterday i went to the boutique and checked the so called''summer edition prototype'' ?? Think about it like the white ceramic offshore with the white strap but all gold. Never found pictures online, never seen one. I asked the lady(manuela) if i can take pictures but the answer was no. Then she told me that this watch is a prototype and will be out in June and they are taking deposits. I really like the watch, seriously thinking about putting a deposit but would love to hear from you guys since you know the wrist game a lot more than i do. Thank you in advanceBurak
Hi, I was looking at the Montbrilliant lineup with Moonphase that was discontinued in 2010. Any idea how good/reliable the movement it uses is (think is Breitling 19) since have seen some complaining about it being expensive to service. I read it uses a modified ETA movement so that means is not an inhouse Breitling mechanical movement right? I thought Brietling had started manufacturing their own movements in early 2000 through a Swiss factory they setup. Also saw a place mentioning the watch having water resistant problems although is marked as 30m water resistant, could anyone throw some light on that?Lastly any wrist shots would be much appreciated,Thanks
