- This is a very attractive watch. I gave it to my niece as a gift and she just loves it. It's very stylish and looks great on your wrist. After I got the one in silver, I bought one for myself in the gold.

- This watch is cute, especially when you open the box. ONce you try it on; however, it has to go back. Too cheap

- The face was really , but the scroll work and the combination of the black and brown goes with anything I wear. I love to collect different watches. I haven't worn this one yet, but I plan to soon. Very nice.

Cartier W62019X6 wrist watches news:
The skeletonization of high-end timepieces has long been a viable option for those watch collectors and enthusiasts who seek?a way to?appreciate mechanical movements more thoroughly than a sapphire case back or an "open-heart" dial allow. Michal Molnar and Igor Fabry of Molnar Fabry are two Slovakian certified jewelers who,?bitten by the "watch-bug"?and driven by a developed?passion for fine watches, have?specialized in creating unique, made-to-order timepieces comprised of beautifully and?heavily modified base movements from ETA, Unitas, and others. We were invited by the young duo to visit them at their workshop in Banska?Bystrica, a small town situated in the central?part of the country and?surrounded by the?beautiful Slovakian countryside.Igor Fabry and Michal Molnar in their workshop situated in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia.Skeletonization is the process of carefully removing?structurally non-important material from the?center of major movement parts, namely bridges, cocks, and plates
In my Waltham 6/0 thread I made a reference to the lack of wristwatch cases on Ebay in particular. Do you have any resources for cases especially from the 20s and 30s? I have to believe that Illinois, Fahys, Wadsworth and Star made millions if not 10s of millions per year. Are they all scrapped or just lying around in drawers and parts cabinets. I am guilty of hoarding a few my self that are too nice to through away but I'm not particularly fond of the design. I have read Stan's posts of finding groups of cases from dealers at the events he attends. Is that the best source? I can't bring myself to buy a 50 case lot on Ebay based on a tiny, blurry picture of one Elgin or Waltham case I might like to have. Kind of like buying 200 crystals in the hope there's one I need. I'm not saying my madness won't lead me there but not before I get a storage unit and some more cats. Joel
whats the difference between the limited edition Wempe version + the current diver they sell today? they look the same or am i crazy? what did the Wempre version sell for? Talking about the steel not the rose
well, im seriously on the fence on which watch to get right now. im really into the po 8500 on bracelet with grey bezel and 3 orange markers....or a breitling super avenger. i know i know, they are 2 diff. watches. but both really close in price and offer different things. i have wanted the SA for a long time but just when im ready to purchase.the new 8500 comes out..... lol. anyway, how do you like the po's?
Hi there! After months of research Ive narrowed down my first Panerai purchase to the following:PAM 233 - Its a classic. No need to explain why I like it.PAM 533 - I love the brown dial, although its not domed like the 233 (I love the dome face). PAM 441 - I love the ceramic and all-black look. PAM 372 or 560 - Both are awesome, timeless. But I keep going back to the dome of the 233.Couple of questions for the experts:1. As far as the in-house movements are concerned, which one of the above has the best / newest movements? Which one would you recommend based solely on the movement?2. Im about 80% sure on the 233. But based on the choices above, which one would you choose and why?3. Any other PAMs I should consider, based on my choices above? THANKS so much for the help! I really cant decide which one to get and Im going nuts here.Cheers!f.
