In a deal that was finalized last night, France’s LVMH will acquire the Bulgari family¡¯s majority shareholding in Bulgari S.p.A. LVMH will issue 16.5 million shares in exchange for the 152.5 million Bulgari shares currently held by the Bulgari family, making them the second largest family shareholder of the LVMH Group. The deal is valued at €3.7 billion, or about $5.19 billion. The offer valued Bulgari’s shares at a 60% premium over its average share price during the past 30 days. The deal will double LVMH’s watch and jewelry business.Paolo and Nicola Bulgari will remain Chairman and Vice Chairman of Bulgari¡¯s board of directors. For 2013 Bell & Ross will once again offer up a few new "Aviation Instrument" themed collection of watches based on the BR 01 (BR01) case. I believe this is the third or fourth year of doing so and it began with pieces like the BR 01 Compass and then the?BR 01 Radar watch. The concept of the piece is to be even more directly "instrument" inspired even though the Bell & Ross BR 01 is called the "Instrument." Having said that, the standard BR 01 watches are straightforward standard watch dials while the Aviation Instrument collection are a bit more "interpretive."You sort of either love or hate these watches. My AD did it again...
Well, as I expected, my AD failed again with my order, sometime ago, I ordered for christmas an Omega 3570.50.00 Moonwatch, and a Tag Heuer Carrera CV2014so, the end of the year arrivals showed up yesterday, and none of mine According to them, is a delay, and the watches will be here in january, and the list of excuses go on and onso I was very upset, untilThey showed me what they brought for the holidays, and voila, my christmas present will be this baby (not my picture, as the watch will be waiting in their safe until christmas I have to be patient for one time in the year )Rolex Submariner 16610, V serial number (with the Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex engraving around the dial :D) strange that Rolex still keeps this old picture in their website...Fresh from my 2010 purchase list, so I will swap the other two for this, and buy them when available in the next year...All in all, not a bad exchange, right?

Ok guys, I've recently seen the Diver in person and am kind of hooked. I'm surprised; I have rather small wrists and am not into larger watches but the diver... my god I don't know what it was...Anyway, I'm thinking about selling my Rolex Hulk (don't tell the guys on the Rolex boards ) and putting the money toward a white Diver.Maybe this infatuation will wear off, I don't know. But for now I'd like some more knowledge about the quality and service of AP as I've never owned one before:1. How robust is the movement? I like my watches to be able to take anything I throw at them and have heard good things about AP but how do they compare movement-wise to a Rolex or even Omega calibre?2. How are service costs? I've heard horrid things about AP service, and don't know how true they are. If anybody has any stories regarding service experience and cost I would love to hear them.3. What kind of price should I be looking at paying? If buying at an AD, can I expect any possible discount on the w
