Cartier W62018Y5 wrist watches news:
About a year ago I was in a little village in the mountains of Afghanistanand was in a little shopI asked the man if he had any watches andhe goes into the back and takes out a coffee can and pulls out alittle watch that he says "No Good"Now Afghanistan has had many foreign armies, the British,Russians etc. over the years and this little guy wasprobably left by one of them many years ago...I gladly pay the 5 bucks or so that he wanted and brought it home.It sat around for monthsThen Stan comes along the forum and a light bulb goes off....Oh Stan, I have a little challenge for you!"Like all foreign policy developments of this period affecting Afghanistan, the conclusion of the "Great Game" between Russia and Britain occurred without the Afghan ruler's participation. The 1907 Anglo-Russian Entente (the Convention of St. Petersburg) not only divided the region into separate areas of Russian and British influence but also established foundations for Afghan neutrality. The Traveler seemed to drift into town without any advance notice. I don't recall reading about it being shown at Basel. I like the looks of this one. Very clean and simple. Do you really need a GMT to tell you what city you are in as long as it tells you what time it is?What do you think of this one?
So as when I was pretty sure I'm getting my greytheme roo I went to the AD and happen to see this ROC it was stunning. It is different to the roo definitely but price wise I'm offered a similar price (almost the same) I like the Roo a bit more but the bracelet on the roc got me thinking about getting a bit more bang for the buck and wondering if the roc would hold it value better? is the white dial hard to obtain and is it a desired dial?any discount to be had?
Hey guys, I've decided my next move will be to expand my collection outside of Rolex. I've settled on 3 pieces max, and would like one of those pieces to be a Panerai. I really don't know much about the various Panerai models so I figured here would be a good place to start. So far I have: Rolex GMT 16710 Coke bezel I would like:Breitling Superocean Heritage 42 black dial on rubber. Panerai??????A little about me: I'm pretty casual; jeans and t-shirt to work, casual athletic wear outside of work. I don't have a huge wrist, so I think the max size I could do is 45mm. I very rarely dress up, so dressy watches are not my taste. In terms of Panerai styling, I really enjoy painted numerals (vs sandwich) and gold hands. I'm not fussy on a glass case back, nor do I need a seconds hand or date (but don't mind either)I really enjoy the tobacco brown dials Panerai puts out but I would also be okay with a black dial. I would prefer automatic over manual wind but it's not a deal breaker. I already
