Was just on the Rolex site hoping there would be a teaser of some sort for any new introductions being released next week.. With 6 days until Basel opens there's nothing, nada, zilch. I was hoping we'd get some kind of teaser, like they did for the Yacht-Master II last year.. Oh well, we'll just have to wait for someones report after Thursday Unless they put something out there tomorrow or Monday Oh well.........
Hello all , I am new here. As a n00b, I thought I would offer up something to the forum as a way of saying "hello, pleased to meet you all".As an owner of the Boschett Cave Dweller I and an admirer of the Cave Dweller II for its many upgrades, I noticed Boschett is selling the nifty new Cave Dweller II clasp as a retrofit kit for us Cave Dweller I owners .While my CDI has a perfectly adequate standard flip-lock clasp, it¡¯s kind of normal, and expected in a diver in this price range. Not terrible, but nothing special. While I have seen several positive reviews on the superiority of the Cave Dweller Bracelet, especially in terms of comfort and finish, the standard clasp was mundane:It was announced shortly after the release of the CD II that Boschett would make this cool new clasp available to CD I owners (the CD II is not a direct replacement I understand) as a retrofit kit. Looking at spending around $30 k on a 5712. Do I go older/newer? S/s or white gold ? rubber or leather? (as the actress said to the bishop). I had originally been looking at a 5146g or 5396g but the Nautilus really grew on me as I was searching. I guess I find it hard to spend $30 k on a s/s and rubber watch. All thoughts welcome (except the member who tells me to do my own research everytime I ask a question!)
