Cartier W6701005 wrist watches news:
Hi everybody! Im new to the forum and I need help with a question.I just purchased a brand new M serial # sea dweller from the rolex store in southern california. I took the watch home and being soooo happy about the purchase I didnt even check the watch very well.anyways I took it home and I found the crown while unscrewing and screwing it made a cracking/crunching noise!!! so I called the AD and told them the problem. they told me to bring it in so they can check it out. the watch maker said there was a problem with the crown and it might be reverse threaded!!! "good news bad news" (watchmaker said)good news is it can be fixed! bad news is even though that the watch is brand new less than a day old from purchase they can not exchange it for a new one(hearing that really sucked!!!) well, I was more worried that the grinding of metals i the crown would get into the watch movement itselfshould I be worried??? or would the tripple crown locking system keep the metal shavings out of the
It's time to say goodbye to the Omega Ploprof that has been in the family since the early 1970's. Any advice that anyone has on the best way to part with this watch would be greatly appreciated. I was about to post it on ebay but decided to instead seek alternatives as ideally I would like to sell it in person.I'm located in Montreal, Canada. Would watch dealers be interested in an item like this? Could also bring the watch to nearby cities i.e. Boston, New York, Toronto.Or......is anyone in this forum interested in an original Omega Ploprof? Thanks!
So the new Orient I just got that I was wearing at work as it was my daily wearer (Mako) is badly scratched.I was walking by a PLASTIC drum of something, it was that blue plastic and it was a little scruffed up and I rubbed against it and I could feel/almost hear the scratch. It is deep enough I can get my fingernail somewhat stuck on it. I went back and just VERY lightly rubbed my watch against the same part as I didn't believe that plastic could do this, and it left ANOTHER tiny but long horrible scratch. How the heck could plastic do that.. it feels ok to the touch.. but completely owned my mineral crystal. Is there anything I can do? I think I am screwed (have to use watch as a beater) but there is no way Orient warranty would cover this or some kind of scratch putty or glass swap that can be done??Thanks!AH!
Reading a political article,i learned that a political leader in my country owns a Piaget Polo.I goggled the watch-and i fall in love.Do you like it?
I am wondering if any of you has experienced this. My ROC is losing approximately over a minute per week. It has started about a month ago and exactly 5 years since the last service. Initially, it gave me no issues for about a decade and now I am noticing that it is losing time. It probably needs a new service?Any suggestions is greatly appreciated and thank you all for your time.gb
