I received this watch in 2009 as a christmas gift and I love the look but it gets dirty VERY easily! anything will make it look dingy and it is impossible to clean. I do recommend purchasing it. But they do have it in purple blue brown and maybe the darker colors will hide dirt better.

Here's a variation of something we've done before. We've had the vintage vs modern debate but let's add a twist: by series, which is more desirable? It's obvious that the Seamaster series will be voted "modern" by an overwhelming margin since members with the 2254 and Bonds seriously outnumber the handful of us with vintage Seamasters. But what about Speedies? Would you rather have a vintage one knowing the history behind them, or a modern version? You can comment on whichever line-up you wish - Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation, De Ville or Geneve. And of course, pictures always help! After all, what's a good article without some illustrations?For me, it's vintage (like you couldn't guess) BUT I'm enjoying the hunt for a post-2000 black-dialed SMP of some type. My Aqua Terra is a regular in the rotation, and it's a descendant of the Seamaster De Ville series. Some of the new De Villes and Constellations are pretty nice though!

Help A NATO Noob (DSOTM & Omega NATO)
I have experience changing straps, but have never dealt with NATOs.I have a DSOTM Speedmaster, and while visiting the Omega boutique in Rome, I impulse purchased an Omega NATO.I have done some searches on various forums, and I saw some discussions about the possibility of needing different, curved spring bars than currently installed on the watch. Is that true?I don't want to risk this ceramic watch falling to the ground and breaking. Any other tips or issues to keep in mind?
