After I reacquired this grail for me recently - the Speedmaster Day/Date Mk40 I decided to try out an Omega double ridge strap on it as shown in the Schumacher advertisement from back in the day. I really like how sporty it looks with this combo & it is perfectly comfortable! Before:After:

Doxa vintage 14 karat solid gold chronograph
Dear allI am new at this forum and I would like to get some help with identifiing my new watches. It should be doxa 14 karat solid gold chronograph, probably with valjoux 22 movement...it is signed doxa at the back of case and on the movement..but the dial is unfortunatelly strongly destroyed (probably someone in the past tried to clean it). Can anyone assist?As you can see, I made a typo in the title of this thread: 74.50.21.220/~watch18/forums/...read.php?t=136I tried to correct it; but, no dice. HOWEVER, when you click on the title, and brought into the thread, note the correction is made. The difference? The words make and made. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.(Make is on the list with all the other threads. Made is once you click on the thread.)

bumble bee strap model number
Hi Fellow AP Fans,I just picked up a bumble bee over the weekend and wanted to swap the hornback strap for driver rubber one with tang buckle.I've spoken to few AD's in London (wempe and harrods) and they claim its not possible !Can someone please send me model numbers for Driver Rubber strap that fit on bumble bee and the black or ss tang buckle (think black one is know as survivor buckle)I was initially going to get the rubber clad but as probably be my only AP I wanted carbon model and waited abit longer. I liked look and the feel of new carbon driver but bb worked out same pricewise so seemed liked better deal to me.Seen few members post some pictures with driver strap so know its should be possible.Also if anyone know good place in UK to get these as the AD are quoting 8 week from orderGlad to finally be member of AP club and long last.many thanks in advance

Evening all. I am seeing the pictures of the 5 digit subs and getting a bit broody. I have a bit of hesitation as I didn¡¯t like the clasp when I had a 2 liner and sold it. My GMT 16710 is amazingly comfy and great clasp and the sub clasp seemed too big. My other wares are PP 5712, Sub C LV and 16710 Pepsi. I bought the black bezel to scratch the itch and have more versatility but it just it¡¯s the same. Photo below. Please advise with loads of photos!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
