Cartier W20098D6 wrist watches news:
Has anyone done or read a comparison of the two GMTs...Rolex vs Omega? I have an Omega GMT black and it's great, but the GMT IIc keeps smiling at me.Make sense to have both??
Hi guys!I was told by my AD to set the watch at 5.30 (am or pm) first, if I want to change the date. The reason, when asked, is because at that position, the movement's gears and springs are free and sort of 'less tensity'.How true is this? I understand the logic of those positioning, only that I dunno how correct is the position would be.Thanks!
I have a couple and i can tell you guys that they are very well made and for me in special the decoration on the movements are fantastic!!What do you guys think about Jaques Lemans? This are my two JL:
Hi guys!I fell in love with this watch:Amd as i know you guys are Pro¡äs, i must ask you what do you think about it.Please post pictures if you have some.Best regards.
Ok, so I need to know from you experts what kind of time an automatic watch is supposed to keep to be considered state of the art. I've had cheap $10 quartz watches that kept perfect time and all banged up but worked fine for years. I bought a rolex in 2005 and was thinking that the time it would keep would be perfect but it was off by more than a minute every few days. I then bought the Longines Hydroconquest which keeps time within a few seconds every day and then the most recent Omega purchase which is off a few seconds every day as well. I think over the years and then after reviewing this website that these pricey watches although very nice arent able to keep better time than a cheap quartz which kind of leaves me wondering if these purchases were a little bit foolish in the sense of timekeeping anyway. I look forward to more educated comments on this subject.
