- The watch is really quite nice but don't expect the color in the picture, it's not nearly as bright and is much more of a subdued green with a bluish hue.

- This wathc does NOT look like the picture. It is large, heavy, thick, close to 1/2 inch! on the dial. Looks much more elegant in the photo. This is a sporty watch for a large man.

Cartier W20099C4 wrist watches news:
Another retro themed watch from Breitling? Who'd have thought it? The brand we love to love, but that itself hates the Internet (just visit their website and you'll know what I mean) brings us a new watch with the Breitling Cosmonaute Automatic Chronograph. Sort of an overly simplistic name if you ask me, but I like the whole connection with space travel. Interestingly enough, the watch has the word "cosmonaute" (cosmonaut) in it that I at least associate with Russian astronauts, but the watch is meant to celebrate an American feat. So what exactly is going on here in the Breitling marketing department? It used to be that watch companies mostly focused on the American space industry, but now you have an incredible shift in focusing on the Russian - and to smaller extent Japanese - space programs. I believe it is because Omega has the US market cornered with the Speedmaster Moonwatch, and Russians are buying watches like mad (and will again as soon as the economy?? rounds itself out a b
Hey all, I am trying to decide which is the better watch to choose. I plan to order from amazon since I have credit there and have narrowed it down to the following models:Luminox 3005 Luminox 0105 Night View Traser P5900 Citizen eco-drive BM8180 I have heard that the painted number on luminox rub off eventually. I really like the tritium lighting on the Luminox and Traser and wonder which has the better lighting. I also like the fact that the citizen is auto, but I do not mind a battery if it is a better watch overall. Any opinions/recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks,Eddie

After much deliberation and great exercise in willpower. (Hehe, I said willpower...) Anyway, I have been watching some of these vintage threads and pictures with a growing desire to give it a try. I figured I had two options:1. Go with a watch ready to wear out of the box. This means a little more $$ up front of course.2. Project watch. Less up front, in theory a little less in the long run.I was leaning toward a project watch - even had a bid on an old non-running Hamilton on the 'bay. My collection seems to be centered on the Hamilton brand and they have great heritage. There is also a wealth of knowledge on the forum regarding both Hamilton and resources for project watches. Then I saw a 1962 Hamilton Accumatic A-200 in beautiful shape. I pondered my options - and now have a beautiful (I think) vintage piece on the way.Sellers Picture:What a year - the collection has grown, I flipped an incoming watch (never even put it on my wrist), and have now dipped my toe in the vintage p
I was lucky enough to try both on yday - but although in my mind the 15202 was the place to be : the assistant said he thought the 15400 was a better size for meWhat do you guys think? I guess - the other thing is I believe the 15202 to be that little bit more special- I've had a 15400 before but in steel and so the change up to OR version wasn't quite as exciting as the completely new (to me) movement I get going 15202
