Jean-Claude Biver Steps Down as Hublot CEO; Ricardo Guadalupe Named Successor
Hublot has announced that Jean-Claude Biver stepped down as CEO effective January 1. Hublot Managing Director Ricardo Guadalupe was named Biver’s successor. The transition has been planned for some time and is based on the significant accomplishments Guadalupe and Biver achieved together since 2005, and on the 20-year personal friendship the two men share. Biver will continue to serve Hublot as the company¡¯s Chairman of the Board, and he will continue to offer valuable business strategy and product development insights. Warning, long read.So I had a little scratch on my diver's bezel on the edge where the brushed surface meets the polished surface near the 5 o'clock marker, it was annoying me because I had no idea where did it come from; My diver was a little fast too so I thought I would send it for regulating and bezel polishing.I went to the boutique and showed the employee the scratch, I told him that I want to get it polished, and he told me that it wasn't noticeable and it wasn't worth it to send the watch to Switzerland-the nearest service center is the one in Le Brassus-for that little scratch, I told him that it needed regulating also then he said that was worth sending the watch to do both and it would take between 4 and 5 months to get it back.As soon as I got home I realized that I would miss it so much and I don't want to send it, I called and told him not to send it and that I would pass by on the next day to get my bracelet fixed on it and take it home; I went the next day with the brac

Pulled the trigger on a ROO Diver this week form a well known forum seller.Tried it on at AD last week and could not hold out!Wife made me clear a couple of pieces due to also inbound new baby but hey I think it is worth it.Will post pics as soon as it arrives.
