Hey all!Today I'm starting on my dissertation proposal for my MA degree, which will keep me quite bussy over the summer.I've decided to dive into the watch industry and research about how they repositioning their products to catch the consumer trends. Furter, I'll look into how specific companies in Swatch group and see how they did/do it. I've done some research allready and it seems to me that there are enough information out there to make it feasible.Well, I'm writing this to make sort of a diary of the progress, and some discussion question might be posted later on. Very interesting auction for a RG RB
I think it's pretty cool, the seller states the rubber was shaved off the RC bezel to show the solid gold under it. I can see he's telling the truth because the WG screws on the bezel are slightly higher than the bezel since they removed the thin layer of rubber.I never knew if you took the rubber off the bezel it would actually look that nice. go figure. don't like the brown diver strap tho..ebay/itm/NEW-AUDEMARS...item2578aa5e62

Resetting Hands after OVERHAUL = 3 weeks?
Greetings All - I had an overhaul done on a Montbrillant Olympus by Breitling USA. Service took 6 weeks to be done and when the watch returned, the hands were not properly lining up. minute hand was slightly off, and the day hand was aligning on wrong letter of the day. brought the watch back to the boutique and it was sent back to Breitling for the hands to be 'reset.' i was told it will take at least 3 weeks to replace the hands since the piece has to be dismantled(?!!?). reading between the lines, does a second overhaul need to be done? basically the misaligned hands are just the result of the problems and not the root cause???
