Yesterday I bought a beautiful pacermatic for $2000. This morning I almost vomited when I saw a new listing on eBay for a pacermatic for a buy it now price of $900. I don't know what made me sicker - the idea that I overpaid, or the fact that I would have to explain this to my wife who required little bit of arm twisting yesterday. Then I started looking closer, and when I looked at the inside of the watch and the workings, it looks as though it might be an electric which has been converted to an automatic movement. How accurate are Pateks?
I was wondering if anyone has timed their Pateks? I can't seem to find any threads or accounts of their accuracy from owners.Are they within COSC? -OR-It doesn't matter if they are accurate because the craftsmanship makes up for it?

Pressure test?
Hi all,Have a Seamaster GMT 2535.80 that I have been wearing for 6 years. After spending some time around trf seems folks are taking watches in to be tested for water resistance once every year or two. I have never had mine tested...... As it is in the ocean a few times a week, I better take it in to have it checked out, as hoping for another 4 years before service. What is the general thought on these seals/gaskets? Are people getting seals replaced every couple years? Or simply having the watch checked out, no leaks no new parts?Appreciate the insight!
