- The finish (color of the gold) is nice and the strap has a nice patina. Nice size, not too , not too large. Can't speak for longevity, since it is a gift but I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Cartier HPI00559 wrist watches news:
This watch, supposedly released already, has Omega's Silicon hairspring with the newest Coaxial mov't. That's a new wrinkle not even available in the men's AT 8500, is supposed to make this watch the latest, greatest, most accurate mech. watch on the market. I'm sure thinking of one for my favorite lady.
I found no information on the internet or in the catalogue of Patek. Also the shape and case is different from the Patek gondolo watches. Most strange item is the movement.I can't identify it with any movement of manufactures. The watch is 3 times signed Patek (dial - movement and case). The case is signed 3207 (dated 1934)Case number : 0128499Movement number : 512595Thank you in advanced.
elloo, I'm a watch enthusiast and I'm developing a website to publish the current price-list of IWC, Rolex, Panerai and Jaeger so that it may help others. Can someone share the current IWC price-list with me? Many thanks in advance.
Braved the crowds for Christmas shopping on the weekend, and happened to see a new Breitling for Bentley Flying B in a shop window. One of these:I must say, this is one rather different looking watch in the 'flesh'. My impressions after seeing photos, was one of a watch that was rather sleek, refined and worked well as a whole. However, I was very dissapointed when I actually saw the thing. It just looks really, really square, above all else.Large, ungainly and almost gaudy are other words that spring to mind. It's very attention-getting....oh...and shiny!I knew immediately what it was, even with only a quick glance. But that great hobnail style pattern. and the round dials almost dissapeared, and were overpowered by the actual case of the watch. But, these are just my first impressions. I normally like the size and heft of Breitlings, especially the more complicated ones, but this one just seemed a bit too different for my tastes.Anyone here seen one, or tried one on?
New to the forum; just got a new to me Daytona...wondering, where do you all like to keep your stopwatch seconds hand? Thinking of keeping it at the 6 o'clock position, not to obstruct the symbol and watch description.
