Cartier Neuwertig, orig. 70ies wrist watches news:
Rolex watches are the most recognized, high-profile timepieces available. When the occasion calls for something dressed-up, look no further than the manufacture¡¯s Cellini line of elegant dress watches. Rolex launched three new and distinctive Cellini families at Baselworld 2014. Here¡¯s what you need to know.Cellini timepieces are known for their refined elegance and simplicity, and the new families continue that tradition. Each family is named for the information it conveys: Time, Date, and Dual Time ¨C names as pure as the watches themselves.Though the families differ based on degree of mechanical complication, they share several attributes. The cases are available exclusively in 18k white or Everose gold that has been cast by Rolex in its own foundry. At 39 mm, the cases are perfectly sized for modern dress watches. Each case is topped by a two-tier bezel ¨C one smooth and the other with the trademark Rolex fluting. Similar fluting provides functional decoration on the caseback. A spec
Will I ever see my Sub date again?I take it to my local AD and ask for full service (a 5 year old Sub running 20 seconds slow a day, something highly wrong if you ask me). They say "6 to 8 weeks".I'm now at week 11 and I keep getting excuses: "it'll be back in the next fortnight" etc.It will have been gone at least 12 weeks and that is totally ridiculous. My car, which is rather more complex, gets serviced in an afternoon.I'm not going to use a RSC again - will go independent next time. Unless I switch to quartz. I just hope they send it back with some freebies, but somehow I doubt it in this country.
Hey everyone. So glad to have found this forum. It's awesome knowing that there are so many people this passionate about watches heh. Recently was passed down this Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000. It has a gold-colored strap but guessing it's not real gold. Here are some pictures: Photo Album - Imgur. It doesn't have enough sentimental value to me to keep without wearing it; just enough to have kept it around for a few months without thinking about selling it. Would like to start wearing nice watches as is my right as a man haha. I'm 22 and just graduated from college. Could envision myself maybe wearing this watch if it were silver, but not sure about the gold with my skin color. What do you guys think? The way I see it, could either sell it for about $400 or change the strap. Really coming from a clueless perspective on this, so would definitely appreciate some thoughts, including good alternatives to this one!
Picked this preowned Seawolf up recently from one of our guys here.Great watch, big and hefty, black dial with baton Markers.I like it. And a pic beside my SD.
I just traded for and received my first ever Panerai that my son is now wearing. A Luminox Daylight Pam 00356 Chronograph. It got my attention as probably, to me, the nicest Panerai I had seen yet. The strap quick change and date quick change really do work nice. Excellent watch.
