The Britains are Coming: Burberry’s New Watch Collection
Following in the footsteps of brands like Ralph Lauren, Herm¨¨s and Louis Vuitton, all of which have made moves to enhance the perception of so-called fashion watches, the British fashion house Burberry is releasing a new high-end wristwatch collection with Swiss movements, called the Britain. Nautilus with diamond and ruby bezel
I saw these 5711/1R with diamond and ruby baguettes on the bezel at the AD.Are these collector's items for Nautilus lovers or are they just too much jewelry for mens watches? They are both available at over $100K USD each and produced in limited quantity.

Only a few days ago I posted pics of a new strap on my PatekI really loved it and I think I was not the only oneit was this watch / strapI just made a few macro shots ... no not from the watch but this time from the strap. Look at these and tell me how you would rate it. Do realize these are macro shots so imperfections would not come as a surprise. What duo you think about the pattern, the 'character', the finishing of the side, the stitching, the ....Do you think this is real croc or fake ?Is it a cheap, average or expensive strap ?Just curious to know what others thinkDo we have some well informed strap purists who can tell more ?for the fun I added a poll ...
