Cartier W2TA0003 wrist watches news:
It's not spring without torrential downpour. Sure, people get annoyed at this, but I tend to welcome it. The dark skies, pitter-patter of rain, empty streets and sidewalks; it's kind of soothing¡ well, in NYC at least. The other part I enjoy is that April showers force you to dress differently. You can go different routes with that challenge; one, you could just throw on things you care less about; old shoes, comfy jeans, a plastic poncho you received for free but can't remember where. Or, you can dress to meet the rain head on and welcome it with well-considered attire. That way, when you get to work, the movies, whatever¡ you will appear to have bested the weather. And the most important part, naturally, is your selection of watch. It's raining; it's dark out, potentially windy with low visibility and, obviously, wet. Sounds like a perfect opportunity to break out the dive watch. Sure, you don't need high water resistance to endure a downpour, but when the storm you headed out in pick
I was looking for the first watch I remember having today, and stumbled upon these two that I don't think I've ever seen before...They're not exactly Omegas or even Tissots for that matter, but they're kinda neat in their own way.The first one is an Armitron that I suspect was given to me by my grandfather. I mentioned one time that I was upset that Charles Schultz was no longer going to be making Peanuts, and he took it as a cue to buy me everything peanuts and clip the comics out of the paper and mail them to me every few months . He meant well, just trying something to connect to his grandson with. Now that he's nursing home bound I kinda feel bad for not appreciating his comics more . Here's the collector's case:And the watch:It's entirely too small for me now, but I'm losing weight and the band might fit sometime soon. I'm thinking that I'll wear it to interviews with a suit. Or...just keep it around because it's kinda cool but never wear it.And the other one:God only knows
From a general standpoint what is a ¡°standard¡± discount on a non ¡°demand¡± AP? I know some crazy sought after models and market fluctuations will change the norm, but in general what is a good discount from an AD vs grey seller?Thank you in advance.
Anybody have any further information on this?Photo cred: soalfb / watchmania
I have a two tone sub, 13 years old and never serviced. I gains about 5 minutes every 10 days. I would like to have it polished and serviced, but i am a little hesitant in putting it in the mail to send to Dallas. Is it safe? What is an estimate in cost?
