I have just bought a Pilot's Watch Double Chronograph Edition Top Gun. Let me say that save for wait for the extra long replacement strap, I am in cloud 9 everytime I check on the time. Also, I chose the Pilot over the Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller. However, allow me to ask a few questions regarding this extraordinary watch.1. In terms of material and construction, how different is this to the limited edition Doppel Ceramic released in 2006? Over the long-term, which of the two would actually be more valuable to IWC collectors?2. Buying it brand new from the largest IWC AD in Hongkong, I paid HK$69,600 or roughly US$9,000. Was this just about right or a steal?3. Is it bad or just fine to use the chronograph all the time? What are its effects to the mechanical aspect of the watch?I will post a picture as soon as I finally recieve the extra long replacement strap which I need for my monstrous wrist. More power to all IWC owners.

Engraved rehaut or not on 36mm Explorer?
Hi all, I've been inching closer toward purchasing a 114270 and like the idea of finding one of the newer models at the end of its production run. However, I also know the topic of the 36mm Explorer with the engraved rehaut stirs up some debate. I was hoping to get your thoughts on which model you have chosen, if you own one, and why. I'm guessing most will say the engraved rehaut strays from the classic look of the model. But it does strike me as an intriguing option for some reason as the last of the 36mm models.
