Cartier W26019L1 wrist watches news:
Back at SIHH 2012, Richard Mille introduced the RM 056, a split-seconds chronograph tourbillon with a full sapphire case. It was priced at $1.65 million and it turned a lot of heads. Then came the updated RM 56-01, which added a sapphire baseplate, bridges, and third wheel, upping the ante. Well, today we have another outlandish sapphire creation for you from Richard Mille, the RM 56-02. In addition to adding more sapphire to the mix, Richard Mille has taken cues from the RM 27-01 Nadal watch, suspending the titanium baseplate from the sapphire case with an elaborate cable and pulley system. And the price? You'll have to read on to find out.The RM 56-02 is about two main innovations: first, the unprecedented use of sapphire to create transparent components and second, the cable and pulley system that suspends the movement from the sapphire case. We'll tackle these in order. 2 OF 3 The three-part case is made entirely of sapphire crystal, which, in case you need a
After months of reading about Hamiltons in various fora and increasing desire to own one, I finally found a terrific deal on a certain auction site and grabbed it. I love it. I tried to research it prior to purchase but found nothingultimately, the price was good enough that it didn't matter too much that it wasn't in the best condition or may be somewhat franken(e.g., no "H" logo on the crown). Ultimately, I love the watchI think the dial is among the most beautiful I've ever seen, and I've not been able to take it off since I got it (despite it having probably the cheapest band I've handleda condition soon to be remedied). It was described as a Boatswain model. I've attached pictures for reference. It's 10k RGP, 33mm across ex crown, 671 movement. The crystal appears to be acrylic and is cracked between 5:30 and 7. Could anyone provide me more information on it? For example, possible year of manufacture, if there are any unoriginal bits on it, if it was originally lumed, etc.?
Can't find any from the AP website, but surely there have to be several in this huge metroplex.
Hi guys, I hope you can clarify this for me as it's really making me lose sleep....When I think Pepsi:The Blue/Red, BLRO, etc. pattern becomes pretty obvious to me.But instead when I think Coke:Where is the Black/Red color combo ?!? More like Red/White methinks...Where is the moniker coming from then ? (Because the Coke Zero is much more recent than the Fat Lady....)Please help me recover my normal sleep and clarify this to me.Thanks !(This post can also be called Slow Day at the Office....)
So I got the opportunity to go to a private invite only event through JLC watches yesterday evening. It was focused on watchmaking and the craftsmanship of JLC watches. They had an exclusive watchmaking class at the event so we could get our hands on the movement and become a JLC watchmaker for a few hours. An expert JLC watchmaker was flown in from their NYC boutique to teach us about watchmaking. It was an amazing evening filled with tons of great food, drinks, desserts, and gifts. I represented the event with my Daytona C since I don't own a JLC but the Daytona was well appreciated at the event. Enjoy the pics!!
