Cartier W51007Q4 wrist watches news:
Glashütte has a very strong tradition of horological education, dating back to the 19th century. In 1878, the German School of Watchmaking Glashütte was founded in the center of the German mountain town. Today, the school is run by Glashütte Original and named after its famous student and instructor, Alfred Helwig. While you may not know of Alfred Helwig, you most likely know of his famous invention, the flying tourbillon. HODINKEE recently visited the school and met instructor Thomas Goldbeck for a tour. What I saw was incredible, and left me feeling great about the future of watchmaking in Glashütte. 1 OF 16 Thomas Goldbeck, Instructor I should preface this by stating that I studied watchmaking at the Nicolas G. Hey guys,After thinking about adding an AP to the collection for over three years, I finally decided to take the plunge.I have a new 15400 inbound this morning and the only thing I am uncertain about is the process of sizing the bracelet. I am 100% comfortable working on my Rolex bracelets and PAM straps, etc. So any tips you guys can provide for how to take a few links out would be greatly appreciated. More specifically...1) What is the correct size screwdriver? I am thinking 1.42) Can someone describe the method of attachment in greater detail? Is it a single screw style pin (like an oyster bracelet) or is it a two-part pin with screw heads on both ends that requires two screwdrivers?3) With a new Rolex, I will usually gently heat the bracelet under very hot water to loosen any factory loctite, etc and it works like a charm. Will that technique be sufficient here? And finally, any other tips/tricks you guys can offer I would be most appreciative of. Like I said, I am comfortable with
Is this a 5074J or 5074R? Is it a piece unique or is it something that was done for a special event I missed...it's amazing. The breguet numerals really make this piece something special. Any facts would be very helpful. Perhaps Khalid will know.
Yes, please! Ordered an OEM green canvas for my boy and I think he is happy.
