Japan’s Citizen Watch Co. introduced a number of watches at recent Baselworld shows, many powered by the brand’s renowned Eco-Drive solar technology, which absorbs power for the movement from sunlight. Here are five Citizen Eco-Drive watches (prices included) that are in stores now.The Citizen Eco-Drive Dress (Ref. BU2016-00A) has a two-tone stainless steel/rose gold case measuring 44 mm in diameter. The silver dial has applied rose-gold-toned indices. The watch, which contains Citizen’s Eco-Drive Caliber 8729, has an analog day and date display and both 12-hour and 24-hour time indication. Found an old Longine - need help identifying.
So, I was going through my parent's safe today and came across my grandpa's old watch. It is a Longine but I know absolutely nothing about it. On the back casing all it say is next to a little star "10K ROP Bezel Stainless Steel back" that is all the information on this watch. as a WIS what do you think of the new LG watch phone?
uncrate/men/gear/cell...h-watch-phone/i, personally, do not care for it. don't get me wrong, it's kind of cool (in that geeky sort of way) and i'm sure it will be a hit with it's intended market. however, as a WIS, i like wearing watches. how are you ever supposed to wear a watch when you have to wear your phone? i suppose this will finally put an end to all the nay syaers who don't wear watches because they have cell phones. now the two are one! not to mention for those of us who coordinate our watches with whatever we happen to be wearing that day, what do you do with this thing?
