Chopard 28/8918/8 wrist watches news:
The first is an Alpha Radiomir with a Japanese movement Miyota, probably the best movement Alpha uses, like most of their other watches use enough unreliable Chinese movements with questionable accuracy. On the other hand their cases are very well made and a steal given the ridiculously low prices. This was the perfect mechanical watch if your budget is less than $100.
I've never owned a real watch before, nor do I know anything about them. But I have done a ton of research, and I think I've narrowed it down. Initially I was looking at this oneorientwatchusa/watch.php?id=119Which I like, but really would prefer a black band. I would most likely end up buying a black leather band and swapping them out. This watch is $120 through their site, or $90 on amazon.I was almost going to go with this one, but then I emailed Orient and they informed me of a 50% off coupon code for first time buyers. This brings the first watch down to $60, and also introduces another one I had previously thought way out of price range. orientwatchusa/watch.php?id=428This watch would be $107.5, a bit more than I was looking to spend but it may be worth it. (Even just for the black band)So my question is, should I go with the first one; or splurge a little and buy the next level up. (I know that may not seem like splurging much, but I'm poor ) Are there any other differences betw
Hello, I hope you are all doing well. Sorry in advance for the probably long winded post but I am sure you appreciate this as it is my first good watch! My current watch is a Casio...I have been looking for about a year now for a nice, daily watch, with a chronograph, that can withstand daily outdoor life and I absolutely love the ROO chronographs, especially the brown 2014 themes model. I won¡¯t be diving or hod carrying, but I do some outdoor activities that may give it some light knocks or water / mud - hunting, shooting, camping, etc.The model I am interested in is steel with a hornback leather strap. What kind of durability can I expect from such a watch? Is is reasonable to use it as a daily watch? I know I should not be comparing it with an Explorer or Submariner as these are true ¡°beaters¡± .. but on the other hand, I am not looking to climb Everest or go scuba diving, so I am hoping I will be OK.After visiting an AP boutique in January, they look and feel more substantial than a
Hi fellow TRF members,It has been quite a while since my last post here. Was busy on everything but on the day before the Labour Holiday, I would like to share with you my trio. They are all in black dial and stainless steel which I acquired in last year. Black is my favourite colour. I am hoping that I can add one more into my collection this year to make it a quartet!Cheers
