There is no denying that the Breitling SeaWolf is a fantastic looking timepiece. It seems lengthy consideration has been bestowed on the aesthetics of this utilitarian tool watch. The case is meticulously finished, with the perfect combination of polished and brushed finishes applied. The dial is well balanced and detailed. However, there is one subtle distinguishing visual detail on this watch that makes it a superior dive watch than almost everything else available on the market.Yes, that’s right: This watch has a depth rating of 3000m! We need to digest that minor/major detail for a little while and try to put it into some kind of perspective: If you were to walk 3000m it would take you about 40 minutes on average. Ordered a 5168 but got bumped?
Hi everyone,New account for anonymity purposes.I ordered a 5168 the day it was announced from my local AD. (back in March)I placed the standard $5k deposit down for the watch and was guaranteed to the be the first to receive it. AD confirmed I was first in line. Received an email today stating that I was to be bumped because a high profile person wanted it instead. So I am next in line.Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas what I should do? Anything I can do about this?I passed on a 5711 to wait on this. Will be my first Patek and this happened...All help greatly appreciated.Thanks,

Power reserve question on the 5131R.
Hi folks hope everyone is having a great weekend..Just wanted to ask a question with regards to power reserve on my 5131R caliber 240 HU. I noticed when I wind it initially 10-15 times and wear it for a few hours then put it down the next day it stops after around 18-24hrs. Now reading the manual it sais a fully wound watch will have a reserve of around 48hrs.Am I right in thinking that to fully wind the watch it has to be wound and worn for many hours to get a reserve of 48hrs or so?? Is it normal to wind it and wear for say 4-5 hours and not get anywhere near 48hrs power reserve?? Hope that all makes sense..
