Chopard 5041 - 1 wrist watches news:
I have been running tests on one of my Rolexes and other watches. I found something really important. If this has been mentioned somewhere before, I haven't seen it. I didn't really know this. So, I got a couple watches, wound them up, took them upstairs and watched them off and on for 24 hours. Both were 12 seconds too fast, or so. So, I thought I would reset the Rolex and wear it for 24 hours. Now I am at 27 hours and I'm pleased to report the Rolex is +4 sec fast. Well within COSC specs. I'm relieved. On my other wrist for testing purposes is a Ball Night Train. It has done about 15 hours at this point. It is +2 sec fast. Also within COSC specs. What have I learned? That body temp and movement keeps your watch running accurately - and is probably good for your watch.I was keeping all of my watches in a room in my basement. It is a bit cool down there. We do little downstairs, so it is not kept at comfortable room temps. I have proven to myself that these somewhat coole
Had to drop off my 15400 this morning at the AP NYC boutique as it suddenly stopped ticking!!! The watch must have been mad at me cause I haven¡¯t worn it for a month. Too many incomings this month.🤪Anyways they had a sample of the 44mm camouflage which I tried and had to post the pics here for yah to check it out. In person I like it! The new rubber feels soft and sturdy, case made of steel and green bezel is hot. Price at 31k MSRP. Have been inform that they are sold out! lmao.... AP fans, would you buy???? FYR, my wrist is 7.25 to 7.5, I forgotten. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What are anyone's experiences like with the 42mm PO Ti? I guess part of this question is, how much difference is there between the 8500 movement and the 8900 movement as well? Thanks, your thoughts are appreciated.Don
Hi, I have an old Omega Seamaster, I attach the pic. The pic is very bad but the watch seems new. How old is it please? Winding up is manual. What value can this old Omega Seamaster get? Thanks, Fox
Hello all,On checking the forum I can honestly say how impressed I am with the feedback to date.I have just been given an Omega Seamaster Alveoles Quartz (mens).I believe the watch is from 1980s. I can honestly say I know little about it except it is a two tone 18k gold plated/steel watch with a gold face with dots as hour markers and date.Does anyone have a rough value for one in good condition for the age.I can find very little information and have no paperwork.Even the omega website has very little to go on.Thank you for any help and assistance, it will be most gratefully received.
