OK so the grail came in yesterday. I gotta say it is nicer than I anticipated. It is a large watch, which I wanted, but not as heavy as my Venom. The detail in the face is extrodinary!! The watch wears light and is much more comfortable than I expected. I got a bunch of comments at dinner last night and it's "unveiling." lol Overall i'm very pleased with it. I have to give a special thanks to Ken at Time 4-less Watches. I called and ordered over the phone. He was great. Its so nice to actually speak to a human. The watch came in a few days and it was packaged really well. I've got "watch in a box" before and was impressed with how well the watch came packaged. So without further adeu.....Invicta #12483 b.jpgInvicta #12483 c.jpgInvicta #12483 f.jpgInvicta #12483 g.jpgInvicta #12483 h.jpg
I thought I would pull out my quartz watches and see how they compare to my computer clock. My computer clock seems to always have the exact correct time so I assume that it is updated all the time.Anyway, quartz watches are so wildly accurate that you have to give them several days to simply vary at all from one another. Here is what I found after 6 days. The watch on the far left, the G-shock was out by +3 seconds fast, the next watch, an old 70s Seiko 7546 was +2 seconds fast, the Lumi Nox Nighthawk was +1 sec. fast. My newest Seiko 7N43 was exactly on time as was my Timex chronograph (why doesn't this watch reset to zero??? I don't use it enough to know) was also exactly on the money.
Hey Folks,I was just wondering what most of you do to keep your watches clean. I've noticed some junk on the back of a couple of my pieces and wasn't really sure what to do.Thanks!Pics for views:
I've been lusting after this one for a while now...couldn't resist yesterday. Pre-owned 422 from a local AD. In love... Second pic is my current PAM lineup. 305 was purchased last month! 312 will be for sale soon. N Series...
