Invicta 10348 wrist watches news:
I just picked up this Benrus today. Wish I had thought to do some before shots, but when I got it home I disassembled the head, cleaned all the parts, hand polished the case and polished gouges in the crystal, as best I could. Oh, and changed the awful brown strap. I would like to change the crystal. , if anyone can help me out with a model name that would help a lot. The watch is white gold filled with a DM21 17j movement, AX2 on movement, no serial found , the dial is silver colored, with gold markers. 18mm lugs. Back, 344664, The watch was sold in 1956.Sorry for the quick and dirty flash shots, it is late and i=I'm tired.
Hello All!My family was up this weekend to celebrate my daughter's birthday. At some point the topic of watches came up and my Uncle mentioned that he had my Grandfather's "old work watch." He said I should look at it and fix it up.Well, today it arrived in the mail. I must admit, I was expecting a Timex from the '60s. I know nothing about this watch other than it has seen some very long and hard days. My Grandfather served in the Pacific and my Uncle wasn't sure about the time or place the watch was purchased. Any info would be greatly appreciated. A quick search on the web provided little information. On with the pics!Thank you,B

So I popped into the AD that I bought my BLNR last year. This is an AD in a small town in India. They had one yachtmaster and a white dial milguass in stock. I asked the owner about the availability of a Sub date, Sub no date, BLNR, ceramic daytona and blue dial SS Sky-D. He mentioned all available for order with delivery in 2 days. The prices he gave me are similar to TRF seller markups currently. For e.g. for the Ceramic daytona and Blue SS Sky-D, he is asking approx $18.9K each. The warranty card would be in my name and dated on date of sale. He is asking $10.6K for the BLNR.So my question to you all is - would you do it? I am torn, I want one of each of the white dial daytona and the blue sky-d but i can't get myself to pay over MSRP for a mass produced product.
