Hi all. I spotted this watch on a workmate's wrist and managed to prise it off him for the weekend. I've never seen a Seagull watch up close and I must say I'm quite impressed by the design & features. I don't know anything about them but here are some pics of his watch...if anyone knows much about them, feel free to chime in with comments :).

How do grey markets dealers get their watches?
We all know the websites that sell "authentic" watches with intact serial numbers, but the watches aren't covered by the manufacturer's warranty. How do these companies get the watches in the first place.

Hinky sweep second hand
The sweep second hand on my Constellation now likes to hesitate.At 3 or four spots it will pause for a second and then jump to catch up with itself. It is not rubbing against the dial or the other two hands. They move fine, and the watch seems to keep great time. But I have now removed it from my rotation.A watch repairman, when I asked him about it, basically said "Keep wearing it- if it ain't broke don't fix it".Is he right and it's okay to continue wearing on a regular basis? Or was he just brushing me off because he thought I was merely asking for his advice rather than actually submitting it for repair?I really want to start wearing it again, but not if it means running the risk of an irritation becoming a real repair problem.

POLL: Rolex replaced my 2 line 14060 with a 4 line dial
I sent my 14060 2 liner in for a full overhaul at Rolex NY and a dial replacement was recommended, which I authorized. When I got it back it had a 4 line dial.So do I keep it as is or have them replace with a 2 line?
