Citizen BU2010-57L wrist watches news:
Next month at SIHH Jaeger-LeCoultre will introduce the new Duom¨¨tre ¨¤ Quanti¨¨me Lunaire 40.5 – a slightly smaller version of the original 42.5mm watch that debuted in 2010. The new model’s case measures 13.07 mm thick and is 18k pink gold. Production is not limited.Jaeger-LeCoultre’s goal with the Duom¨¨tre series is to develop complicated watches that keep time with great accuracy. The goal is achieved by means of the Caliber 381’s “dual-wing” design which features two independent power supplies: one regulated by the escapement and balance, and the other for the time, date and age of the moon displays. This arrangement takes the complications out of the power loop, so to speak, allowing a smooth flow of energy to the escapement. As an added horological bonus, this piece incorporates a jumping foudroyante seconds hand showing 1/6th of a second incrementsplete technical specifications appear below the image.Technical SpecificationsMovement? Antiquorum¡¯s last Geneva sale of the Spring season, ¡°Collecting Modern & Vintage Timepieces¡±, held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel this weekend past, achieved CHF 6’327¡¯428, with 84% of the 500 lots being sold. When I first learned about this new Dee & Ricky limited edition G-Shock watches, I was like WTF?! Not that I would wear it, but I can appreciate the culture that created it. The watch design really started in the 1980s, though the designs may not be aware of that. It was the time of Lego and bright colors, and when wearing wild hues was fashionable until the mid 1990s (when thankfully florescent colors went out). The lineage of the style also is related to 8 bit gaming. Nintendo brought bright colors before our eyes on a daily basis in blocky glory. This watch is the summation of an entire pop culture generation. Nerds with focus, geeks with passion.? Designers Dee & Ricky are New York born twins who are self taught and highly inspired by their youth. If this watch is at all questionable to you, then simply view the video they made below with direct and video artist Kenzo Digital (which will appeal to all Lego and G-Shock fans). Don't worry, the Casio part of it comes in later
Good news for people that don't like the 372 with the plexi.now S series comes with sapphire glass
I was offered a D Blue recently and declined seeing as my wrists are small.anything over 40mm I¡¯ve never really taken any notice of and I never knew much about the history of this watch. The AD salesman was telling me that he expected them to be out of production soon and it would be a great investment, since I¡¯ve walked away I¡¯ve been wondering if a made a big mistake. Are these watches still a ¡®Hot watch ¡® or was it just the usual salesman pitch ?
