Say hello to another independent American watch brand. This time from raging New Orleans. Sounds like a place with enough history to support a watch brand. The marque is simply called the New Orleans Watch Company - and the pieces have a distinct feel to them that is both decorative and celebratory - a lot like New Orleans I suppose.The watches don't seem to have model names. What I gather is that each is made to order per the customer's wishes. That equals expensive. The pieces have a very artisan feel to them versus being made in sophisticated CNC machines and alike. i'm having a tough time deciding between these two models for my first breitling purchase (if the omega seamaster planet ocean chrono doesn't win me over), and I could use some expert advice. if you had to pick one (super avenger or skyland avenger), which one would you choose? if you could give a couple of reasons for your pick, i'd greatly appreciate your input. thanks!

Rikthewatchmaker comes shining through
I sent an old pocket watch to Rik for restoration and cleaning. It was in very poor condition with the glass missing, face worn away and one of the hands bent. I just received it back and was amazed at the absolutely gorgeous condition of the watch. I really don't believe Rik needs any more work but I felt I had to share this beautiful pocket watch .....Here is the before picture:and here is what I was totally blown away with:
