IWC IW544501 wrist watches news:
Hi everyone,Haven't posted on here since I bought my Seamaster last boxing day, but I'ne now bought a Speedmaster :DMy Seamaster is still under warranty and I've had a few problems with it from the start. The large second hand does not line up directly at 12 o'clock, the bezel has a little bit of play in it, the watch is gaining 4-5 seconds a day, and its covered it scratches! As it's been my everyday watch I'm not surprised it's got scratches on it, but after speaking to the AD they said Omega will refurbish it for free if requested. So it's getting sent off tomorrow and in the meantime I'll be using the Speedmaster as a daily watch. This has it's problems too The second hand doesn't line up to 12 o'clock either and the watch was a display model so has a few marks on it where the finish has worn off. Once I get my Seamaster back in a month or so I'll be sending that off to get sorted out too :rolleyes:I love how the Seamaster looks and feels, and when I picked up the Speedmaster it
I'm wearing my Day/Date so my watch can remind me all day long that today is finally Friday.
Which would be your pick? All redgold.
Have you ever used an auction house like antiquorum or christies to sell a watch? I am contemplating selling a Patek 5350 using an auction house. I have not aggressively shopped it but it is not an easy piece to move. I would appreciate pointers or lessons learned.
Thanks to the generosity of GT500 (John), I have a new OEM strap for the 390. It makes the tobacco dial appear darker almost graphite and the cream stitching perfectly matches the lume. Love this watch. Have a great weekend
