- Bought the watch for a friend who loved it very much because of its nice clean look. However I exchanged it two days later because the watch fell and the strap broke. I didnt think watches were suppsed to be that fragile.

Chopard 278475-3030 La Vie En Rose wrist watches news:
Hey guys ! ! !Pictured below are two of the RAREST Trench Watch Shrapnel Guards in the WORLD ! ! This is a GOLD FILLED "LATH", aka the WARRIOR and a STERLING SILVER "CROSS" WATCH PROTECTOR. Both of them are the larger size 0s. I have only seen ONE Gold Filled Lath and ONE Sterling Silver Cross Protector and they are photographed here together for your viewing pleasure! What makes these guards so rare is the metal content, guards usually consist of common solid nickel or common nickel plating, not gold fill or sterling silver. Even in common solid nickel these designs are extremely difficult to locate and obtain. I have documented only 4 Laths (3 nickel and 1 gold filled) and this is the ONLY Cross Protector that has been documented in the past 5 years so that should tell you something about their rarity! Both of these designs were available from The Mealy Manufacturing Company, the largest watch attachment manufacturer in the world during the Great War. Each one of these guards are off
Thank you all
I ordered the COSC Certificate for my 36.2mm Railmaster (.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=114083) awhile back. It arrived today. Some folks have complained that Omega now charges 50 Swiss Francs ($48.47) for the Certificate. As you can see on the envelope, Omega pays 11.50 Swiss Francs just in postage. Now, while I don't think 50 Swiss Francs is a great bargain, considering Omega has to order the Certificate, probably pay COSC a little something for it (after all, if it was free Omega would probably provide it routinely with the watch), and then ship it to us in the USA, the price doesn't seem outrageous either.Interestingly, in studying the figures for the movement in various positions, it confirms what I had noticed by trial and error. The watch likes to rest on its back at night and absolutely does not like resting on the 9 o'clock with the 3 o'clock up (really slows down). Wearing the watch 14 hours a day and resting it on its back with the dial up at night results in a loss of on
I am watching tonights episode and Jay's inner WIS came out tonight. He believes his wife has bought him a new Pam (however the box looked more like a rolex box) and he was excited. Sorry for the silly post however love seeing WIS moments on TV
The last time I posted, I was considering a Sub C no-date and a DJ 36 but, after doing some more research, I'm leaning more towards the SS GMT II. The price is right but I'm just worried it might look goofy on my ~6.1 wrist. Does anyone else with a smaller wrist wear a GMT/Sub?
