Citizen FD3002-51P wrist watches news:
As reported last night on WatchTime’s social media channels, the smartwatch revolution continues to have an impact on traditional Swiss watch brands. The latest evidence came last night at a launch event in San Francisco, where Fr¨¦d¨¦rique Constant CEO Peter Stas announced? the debut of the MMT (Manufacture Modules Technologies) smartwatch technology platform, a joint venture that represents, according to Stas, “the bridge between Silicon Valley and Switzerland.”Stas partnered with Philippe Kahn, founder and CEO of Silicon Valley-based Fullpower Inc., an industry leader in wearable technology, to develop MMT, which is powered by the patented MotionX activity tracking technology. Stas says the idea behind the platform was to approach it from a “Swiss luxury watch perspective,” i.e., retaining the classical design principles that are the major reason consumers purchase traditional watches while also making the timepieces “smarter” and “conne
Just took the Omega pie pan in to Sam for a service so I snapped a couple quick shots. I had suspected this was an estate sale watch that was used sparsely, and wondered how it would look inside. It appears that it was never touched! The inside of the caseback is unmarked and as new, and the movement show no signs of ever being touched and was bone dry. Good thing I didn't wear it much or I could have damaged it! Anyway, enough talk. Here's a couple photos:
The lume dot on my Ocean1 bezel insert fell out. Elsa at Debaufre' was kind enough to send me a new insert. I read the reference threads on bezel insert changes. I saw the one on the razor blade, but can you use an x-acto knife to pry the insert off? I have tried to pry ther insert off, but it's not coming off. How tricky is the adhesive? Any other suggestions? This is my first try at something like this. Thanks
Fellow RF members and watch addicts After 3 weeks of torturing myself on what to buy and I mean hell on earth with hours upon hours spent daily looking at AP and I have one I think I prefer and it all falls apart. I do have it narrowed down that I want a 42mm AP. Other than that I am a lost soul because I simply cannot make a decision and it doesn't get any better the older I get!If you don't mind fellow members please share photos of your 42mm. It would be much appreciated!
I was wondering whether the aquanaut would look better without the markers around the dial, and only the numerals could be made a bit bigger and moved to the outside of the dial, taking the place of the markers. I think it would modernize the timepiece big time. Can anyone with good photoshop skills try to achieve that?
