Jaeger LeCoultre 848998A wrist watches news:
Good news everyone! You can now make payments with your watch, or that is to say, a watch. The LAKS Watch2pay combines a very simple quartz watch with the Mastercard Paypass contact-less payment system to allow you to pay up by placing your watch in close proximity to a vendor's Paypass terminal. Only catch is that the watch looks like this. The LAKS Watch2pay is a 42.7 x 15.5 mm watch featuring an ABS (polymer plastic) case and a silicone strap. The Watch2pay sports an acrylic crystal and is powered by a Seiko-sourced quartz movement with date. Available in a wide range of colors, the Watch2pay is available to UK residents for ¡ê99. From a watch nerd standpoint, there isn't much to get excited about as the Watch2pay is essentially just a platform for a small Mastercard Paypass chip that slots into the back of the watch like a?SIM card. We consider this timepiece a good execution of a proof of concept.Mastercard Paypass uses a technology called EMV which is the result of a collaboration

NASA mistakenly feared that automatic-winding watches relied on gravity and so insisted that the "moon watch" be manually wound.
Am considering purchasing a used 16613, owner says it is an X series which would date it to 1991. But I am having a hard time with the way the bezel looks, and I can't find a definitive source explaining the different fonts. This is the bezel of the watch- This is a 1991 Submariner found online- I don't have to be an expert to see that the '4' and the '5' on the bezel are completely different. So is the watch actually a different year, has the bezel perhaps been changed for one that is not correct or were there different bezels used in the same year, and it was just an optional look? Thanks for all your help...Stanima
